“AQUA-WEED #100” is a non-volatile, non-selective herbicide containing Diquat Dibromide and is very effective at low dosages. . .rapid dill with visible effects within 7 to 12 days. . . “AQUA-WEED #100” becomes totally ineffective and inactive immediately upon contact with soil. . . the killing power is with leaf contact only.  “AQUA-WEED #100” makes an excellent product to use for weed control in shrub area due to the fact that it kills only from leaf contact. . . not from ground root contact, thus eliminating the possibility of surface run off to roots of shrubs that you may not want destroyed.  When “AQUA-WEED #100” comes in contact with soil it becomes totally inactive on contact; therefore, it cannot build up and become toxic at a later date.

DIRECTIONS: (FOR LAKES AND PONDS):

1.       Application may be made from boat or aircraft.  For small areas, simply use sprinkling can or pour directly from the container or garden sprayer into the water surface while moving boat slowly over surface. . . repeat application may be necessary under conditions of heavy infestations or where re-infestation may occur from seed fragmentation.

2.       “AQUA-WEED #100” is a concentrate and is used at 1 part “AQUA-WEED #100” to 1 million parts of water.  Heavy infestation may require two treatments of 112 gallons a treatment per surface acre 4 feet deep.

3.       Treatment of aquatic weeds will result in oxygen loss from decomposition of dead leaves. . . this loss of oxygen can cause fish suffocation; therefore, to minimize this hazard, treat 1/3 of area at a time waiting 14 days before treating further patches.
