"Pool-Acid"

Efficiently Lowers pH in Swimming Pools

  • Highly concentrated
  • Fast acting

  • Ideal for large pools
  • Reduces total alkalinity
  • Effective in hard water

DAVIES "POOL-ACID" is specifically compounded for swim pool use.  Generally, large pools and very hard water are where DAVIES "POOL-ACID" is used.  Because of the economy of use, commercial pool operators prefer DAVIES "POOL-ACID" to the power of DAVIES "pH-MINUS".

DAVIES "POOL-ACID" is specifically compounded to lower pH quickly and efficiently in swimming pools.  The proper pH range is 7.2 to 7.6.  When pH is greater than 7.6, add sufficient DAVIES "POOL-ACID" in small amounts, 8 fl. oz. per 10,000 gallons of water, to bring the pH down to 7.2.  Never exceed 16 fl. oz. of DAVIES "POOL-ACID" per 10,000 gallons of water.  Always add to deep end with filter working.  Do not add near metal fittings, pool skimmer, or when swimmers are in the pool.  Do not mix with any other pool chemical, and do not lower pH past 7.0.
