Sewer Line Treatment
To clean and remove deposits of sludge, silt, mud, dirt and sewage from storm sewers, sanitary sewers and combined storm-sanitary sewers, use one of the four methods below:
- With Hydraulic Jet Pumping Units, add ‘MUD-X’ at the rate of three gallons per 1,000 gallons of flushing water.
- With Fire Hose Cleaning and three gallons ‘MUD-X’ per 1,000 gallons of flushing water or one gallon product per 100 linear feet of one foot diameter pipe for two feet diameter pipe double the dosage. For three foot diameter, triple dosage etc.
- With Bucket Cleaning Equipment, add as with fire hose cleaning.
- Alternate Method add one gallon product per 100 feet of one foot diameter pipe into manhole or other sewer opening. Next rain will supply enough agitation so that product will re-dissolve and wash out deposits.
For Regular Preventative Maintenance of all types of sewer systems, add one quart product per 100 feet of one foot diameter pipe-once each month.
Sand Trap Treatment
Add three gallons product per 1000 gallons of flushing water to clean and remove heavy accumulations of sand, silt, mud and dirt from sand traps in car washes and truck bay areas.
